“Recent COVID lockdown circumstances isolated myself literally in the kitchen instead of the studio that forced me to dive into housekeeping routine without any choice. In other words, a housekeeping environment substituted other realities that are still common for a significant number of women around the world.
“Made in the Kitchen” project explores a feminine role in a patriarchal society and arises questions, if it is a voluntary choice of a domestic slavery or blindly following traditions, religions, social expectations and others projections.” (Text by courtesy of Lena Ash)
