“The sound of an insect: I start something like singing to the buzz, thoughtless. Word-like sounds come out of my mouth reminding of possible senses while drawing a fly, connected to the potential meaning of impossible sounds imagining how seeing with compound eyes would change the experience, the drawing, a wing. Some doubled, tripled, quartered, fractured structure crashes the thought, reminds me of shards which I then rearrange to something now new, singing, dancing, setting in ratio to things and thoughts around …” (Text by courtesy of Manfred Peckl)
