Many thanks to the artist Sascha Boldt for his lecture Interconnected Reflection Extension and discussing the works of our participants within the Studio Program at BAI | Berlin Artist Residency, Art School, Arts Incubator, and Live Online Courses & Classes.
“The lecture conveys the connection between classical art media and contemporary media from analogue to digital. It will mainly focus on the affiliation between traditional art fields such as painting, drawing and newer technologies such as photography, mass media and the internet. The discourse addresses the importance of traditional artworks in the past and how they have evolved over time and augmented by contemporary technologies in recent years. Reflections on how to set up a body of work using templates for series and image productions in a row will also be discussed plus how the Internet has changed the way artworks are viewed, produced, and distributed.
