Within the partnership between ARTIS & BERLIN ART INSTITUTE (BAI) in the Studio Program Art Residency, artist Noa Simhayof Shahaf  has been selected for a fully funded residency and currently takes part in Block 04: 03/30 – 04/24/2026, Block 05: 04/27 – 05/22/2026 & Block 06: 05/26 – 06/19/2026 of the BAI Studio Program.

Noa is currently developing a research-based film project focused on medical simulation practices, with a particular interest in how clinical scenarios are constructed and operated within training environments, and how simulation technologies are used in interdisciplinary teaching contexts.

Noa Simhayof Shahaf (b. 1996, Raanana) is a multidisciplinary artist whose work spans video art, performance, and installation. A graduate of Shenkar College of Engineering and Design, with studies at Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Art in Kraków, their practice explores themes of identity, technology, and spatial perception.

BAI and ARTIS are partners in the Artis’ Studio Partnership Program, which offers fully funded residencies to emerging, mid-career, and established visual artists from Israel. After the Open Call organized by our partner, Artis provided a shortlist of finalists from which Noa was selected after a review process.
