Many thanks to the artist Kai Teichert for his seminar “DRAWING AS LANGUAGE” and discussing the works of our participants.
“In the search for an autonomous imagery that does not require expert translation and mediation, Kai Teichert has repeatedly found the classical vocabulary of the visual arts: figure, object, space. The group will be drawing in turn in the students’ studios and try to reflect on the work of others through the medium of drawing. The aim of the exercise is the exploration of graphic expressions and the encouragement to communicate questions of art. Each day ends with a feedback round.“ (Kai Teichert)
