ANNA KARPENKO starts CrossCulture Internship @ BAI

October 04, 2018, 10 am – 12 noon

Many thanks to the independent curator, cultural manager, researcher and CrossCulture Intern Anna Karpenko providing the presentation “TOWARDS THE NOTION OF CURATION: documentation, archiving, presentation” for our participants. For her internship at the BAI she got a scholarship for participating in the CrossCulture Internships Program (CCP) of ifa (Institute for Foreign Cultural Relations).

The CCP program enables participants to gain international experience abroad and to act as multipliers in their home countries. Besides being able to develop professionally and functionally, participants also gain an insight into the social and political structures of the host country and make new contacts which can be useful for working partnerships when they return to their home country. This exchange promotes cross-border dialogue between people, countries and organisations, and permanently reinforces the networks between organisations in Germany and the other countries involved.(Text by courtesy of ifa)

Graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy of the Belarusian State University, Master of Arts at the European Humanities University (Vilnius, Lithuania). Master degree in Sociology.
