“In their joint exhibition, Angelika Zeller and Herbert Stattler show very different drawings – here a diffuse collection of lines, there exact segments of circles. However, both pursue a precision with which they slowly and persistently develop their drawings, some of which are very large-format. Both are concerned with the human body and its sexual connotations, with the constant change in effect and social assessment of its depictability. They put often repeated and medially reproduced perspectives on human sexuality up for discussion anew.” (Text by courtesy of COPYRIGHTberlin)
