For the last time, u. A. w. g. (um Ankauf wird gebeten) offers adventurous collectors, who are open to the unknown and unfazed by superficial trends and consultants, the opportunity to seek and find something new by themselves! Help yourself in a game in which market value and art value still stand in a comprehensible relationship to each other and guarantee a jaunty surplus value (plus unforeseeable potentials of accretion!) due to their authenticity.
After touring through Germany, numerous works of the show u. A. w. g. will return to Berlin. Hurrah!
With prominent and institutional support, but mainly driven by the energy of the artists Hüppi, Nolden and Schmitt, works have been and still are being displayed in the most various exhibition formats. The interplay of value and claim, benchmark and exorbitance, is a recurring social and artistic theme. The works of teachers, students, professionals, and amateurs are presented side by side on an equal basis, forming a resonating space and demonstrating that art is a reference system that is constantly renegotiated and only stays vibrant due to contradictions and mixtures.
