Many thanks to the artist Patricia Lambertus for her seminar “The extension of the pictorial space (painting/drawing/collage) in the real space”.
“Since the 40s, the image exceeding limits is an artistic strategy . The perception of the viewer goes beyond the boundaries of traditional closed-panel painting , the fictitious pictorial space merges with the real space. This can turn in a mural painting or an installation.
Different artistic positions and their strategies will be presented and analyzed. The works will be scrutinized on their inherent potential of the image enhancement . Experimental and playful new forms of presentation will be tested and discussed in the workshop.” (Patricia Lambertus)
