“This lecture delves into the intersections of painting, poetry, nature, spirituality, and desire. Thinking through color as material and the relationship between surface, touch, and the transfer of feeling, it reflects on the tactile, sensual, and spiritual possibilities of painting. Mahsa Saloor is an artist and writer based in Berlin. They work between painting, poetry, and film. They have shown their work at Hua International, KINDL, BQ, Kunstverein München, Sangt Hipolyt, and LUCKY, among others. They have performed their poetry at PW Magazine, FRAGILE, and Hopscotch Reading Room. They graduated from Städelschule in 2017 and NYU Tisch School of the Arts in 2011.
