Lecture A CREATIVE ROLLERCOASTER by Martin Kohout

November 24, 2022, 10 am – 2 pm

Many thanks to the artist Martin Kohout for his lecture A Creative Rollercoaster and discussing the works of our participants within the Studio Program at BAI | Berlin Artist Residency, Art School, Arts Incubator, and Live Online Courses & Classes.

“In this talk, together with the artist and publisher Martin Kohout, we will take a look under the hood of creative process and what role doubting, detours, surprises, or the ability to adapt and react play within it. In most cases, what is being presented to us in culture and arts are final outcomes of complex creative work. This can lead to an impression, that those, who made them, planned them this way from the start. And this can create a deception, leading to creative stress and block in the initial stages of making art, or to a sort of fear to experiment and eventually ‘fail’. Let’s take a look at how to ease such worries and how many of those potential dangers can lead to great outcomes. ” (Text by courtesy of Martin Kohout)
