“DRAWN is a picture book that follows the graphic logic of Christian Schwarzwald’s work in order to give an immediate and intense impression of his idea of drawing. Christian Schwarzwald’s oeuvre embodies a broad concept of graphics: from quick, simple sketches and notes to editions and paintings. He develops his works as elements of ensembles, which are then presented as multi-part spatial works and installations.
