Many thanks to the artist duo VARIOUS & GOULD for the seminar “monYOUment” and discussing the works of our participants.
“This seminar is about the artistic exploration of monuments. Starting from questions such as, “Who builds whom a monument? And why?”, we want to get to general aspects of both commemorative culture, as well as artistic practice in public space. Monuments are collective projection screens and can be representing so many things!
Following the presentation of our work, the participants of the BAI have the opportunity to discuss their work with us in joint studio talks.
