Many thanks to the artist Manfred Schneider for his seminar “DRAWN PAINTING – PAINTED DRAWING”.

“Drawing taken as a basis for a painting is a fundamental technique to produce images of our reality, dreams, wishes, statements …
In the seminar we will concentrate on doing drawn paintings and painted drawings. It means that drawings should be not only a model for paintings, the drawing should be the painting itself. The precondition for this kind of painting will be materials handling and the awareness for lines, scetchiness, strokes, mashup-technics, directness, speed and so on and the difference to other possibilities to produce paintings or images. After an indroduction with general examples and a individual talk every participant starts to produce large size „drawn paintings – painted drawings“.
Drawing Materials: coal, wax  crayon, acryl paint, glue etc.”
