Many thanks to the art critic and curator Tuce Erel for introducing our participants to the exhibition “CHRONOGRAPHIA” by Gülsün Karamustafa and her tour through the retrospective at Hamburger Bahnhof – Museum für Gegenwart – Berlin.

Gülsün Karamustafa (born 1946) is one of the most important artists of the second half of the 20th century in Turkey showing her work internationally. She has influenced younger generations of Turkish artists since the 1990s. Ankara and Berlin based art critic and curator Tuce Erel gives a personal insight into the comprehensive solo exhibition in a museum setting at the Hamburger Bahnhof also including the first retrospective at SALT Istanbul in 2013.
