WEEK 3: Plant Time

In this session we will look at a specific plant, that, in its forms and metamorphosis, suggests a different temporal reference frame to that of anthropic time. We will glean ideas from observation and description to speculate about the ontologies of ‘plant time’ or ‘floral time’.  We will look at Johann Wolfgang von Goethe’s observation methods and ‘delicate empiricism’.  This process will extend further to explore the psychologies of the non-human.
