WEEK 1: Posthumanism, Transhumanism, Compostism: an introduction

We will explore and differentiate between Posthumanism, Compostism, and Transhumanism, examining the philosophical and political stakes of each. We will examine authors like Rosi Braidotti and Donna Haraway, and analyse the work of artists inspired by their views. The session will also critically connect these perspectives to current technological, environmental, and socio-political developments shaping our world today.
