WEEK 4: Project Development and Feedback

In this fourth and last session and based on what we have learned in the previous sessions participants will create a finished piece that challenges mainstream narratives and integrates experimental filmmaking techniques. Each participant will bring his/her own approach on how to create a short film with limited resources focusing on the topic of “Art&Poverty” . We will engage in resourceful practices, such as shooting with minimal equipment, using found objects, and embracing DIY techniques. Throughout the session we will also revisit Cesar Gonzalez and other artists as well as discuss strategies for presenting works on accessible platforms, public spaces or community screening.
