MUHAMMAD SALAH starts CrossCulture Internship @ BAI

October 17, 2018, 2 – 3 pm

Many thanks to the photographer and CrossCulture Intern Muhammad Salah providing a comprehensive insight into the programs of his home organization Yalla! Khartoum Institute for Arts and Culture and his own artistic work. For his internship at the BAI he got a scholarship for participating in the CrossCulture Internships Program (CCP) of ifa (Institute for Foreign Cultural Relations).

The CCP program enables participants to gain international experience abroad and to act as multipliers in their home countries. Besides being able to develop professionally and functionally, participants also gain an insight into the social and political structures of the host country and make new contacts which can be useful for working partnerships when they return to their home country. This exchange promotes cross-border dialogue between people, countries and organisations, and permanently reinforces the networks between organisations in Germany and the other countries involved.” (Text by courtesy of ifa)

Muhammad Salah is a freelance photographer, translator and program coordinator at Yalla! Khartoum, a community of people coming together to support and celebrate urban arts and youth cultures in the context of an intercultural exchange. He lives and works in Khartoum, Sudan.

More information about his artistic work on the MUHAMMAD SALAH Website.
