“Similarities and differences in the composition of watercolors and gouache will be demonstrated and examined. This will also give you a fundamental insight into the formulation process. You will get to try out mediums to modulate the capacities of watercolor paints and learn about the different qualities of special watercolor papers. Brushes, specifically designed for watercolor painting that hold large loads of paint while still forming a perfect tip to enable precise work, will be introduced.
Further we will investigate the correlations of line and form. We will use highly pigmented and lightfast watercolor markers and watercolor sticks starting with line drawing in order to expanse the pigment and experiment with the development of forms.” (Text by courtesy of Mirjam Martinović & ColArt – The Fine Art Collective)
